It is true that the game was programmed with a trustworthy system in mind, like a PS4, but on PC you cant tell if everyone is clean. Look, it's a lot more difficult that you make it out. Let's just hope Rockstar and other future developers learn from the mistakes that were clearly made in the development of GTA O. It kind of sucks though that I basically have to play the game exclusively in solo public lobbies and invite only lobbies just to avoid the modders. I could go on but I don't want to be any more negative than I have to be. I've also had people stalk me from lobby through people on my friends list just to mess my game up and the only way to stop it was to unfortunately unfriend some of my friends. You try to do a race and a guy is teleporting around the track and finishes the race in under 10 seconds. You try to do a deathmatch and some idiot is in god mode. You kill a guy for his bounty and boom he crashes your game. It really frustrates me that I can't even play the game sometimes because the cheating is so rampant. Also, isn't GTA 5 one of the best selling forms of media ever created now? Yet the game is so easily exploited and the developers either can't or wont do anything about it. I still find it funny that modders and cheaters seemingly go unpunished but any glitches to wear certain clothing items together that wouldn't normally be possible are patched ASAP. Those facts being that the people behind this game are unfortunately clueless or careless when it comes to not leaving a game open to manipulation, despite all their budget and resources and that many people with shallow personalities and zero self respect are more than happy to take advantage of this.

It would be funny that Take Two have resorted to trying to sue what they can't actually solve if the facts weren't quite so sad. The fact that cheaters can completely intercept these reports is just incomprehensible. If someone's client sends a report against someone then that report should go directly to Rockstar support, even if a cheater prevents their client from being monitored, there is nothing a cheater should ever be able to do to prevent that report from being sent entirety.

The biggest insult of my examples has to be cheaters having the ability to block reports against them. However GTA: Online really does take the joke too far when it comes to how open it is to manipulation.ДЇor those PC players who somehow haven't experienced things like this first hand, here are some examples of things that cheaters can regularly do, which should be easily preventable with any form of anti-cheat: teleporting other players, removing weapons from other players, blocking reports against themselves.ДЄbsolutely no anti-cheat should be incapable of detecting another player's altered client sending out information that would never normally occur during regular play and then at-least setting off some type of flag for further action to then be taken. This means that the only thing Rockstar's servers do is manage save data and various triggered events (which really makes you question why their servers are so unstable when they do so little or why console players have to literally pay to use their own internet).Д«ecause of the lack of this middle man, creating an anti-cheat is harder than usual as you can't effectively monitor everything. To me, the only thing that is more frustrating to this problem is Rockstar's/Take Two's outright incompetence.ДЇor those who don't know, GTA:Online uses Peer to Peer sessions, meaning that general gameplay doesn't go through Rockstar's servers, instead everyone's game (client) is simply communicating with one another directly (no middle man). From changing the weather to kicking people out of their own CEO organisations (which is a new one I saw today), this game is literally wide open to any and every form of manipulation. I'm sure it is also news to no one that, that cheater is likely shallow enough of a person to be out to ruin everyone's time. I'm sure it is news to no one here that any session with at least 20 people in is effectively guaranteed to have a cheater. At this playing GTA:Online on PC is a bit like trying to use a wheelie bin instead of a wheel chair it ain't fun or generally a good idea.
